Borgund Hyttesenter og Camping is centrally located for hikes and car trips.

Speaking of car trips, we should mention that it is only 40 km. to flåm and the flåmsban mountain railroad via the Lærdal Tunnel, the longest road tunnel in the World. There are daily ferry connections from Lærdal to Gudvangen. If you take your car, you can drive to Flåm , Aurland and return by the snow road to Lærdal and the campingrounds. The Jostedal Glacier and GlacierMuseum in Fjærland are both not so long away. These are just the few of the many things and places you can visit in the inner Sogn region when you stay at Borgund Hyttesenter og Camping.

Another splendid option is to drive by car to Øvre Årdal. Park the car and walk to Vettisfossen, Europes highest waterfall. Than return to your car and drive via Turtagrø to Sogndal. Catch the ferry from Manhiller to Fodnes and then drive back to the campinggrounds.

It is 25 km to Lærdalsøyri and the Atlantic Salmon Centre and the Gjesme Gallery.
